Frequently asked questions
Individual sessions cost $150. Family/Couples sessions cost $165. Sometimes, especially with couples or family therapy, longer sessions can be helpful. For 90 minute sessions, the cost is $225.
I do accept some insurances. Please contact me directly to find out which insurance plans I accept.
The first session will consist of me asking you all kinds of questions. Once I have a clearer picture of who you are and what you have experienced I will be able to provide you with more supportive care throughout our time together. After that it's up to you as far as what topics you would like to bring up during sessions!
I take an eclectic approach tailored to each client. Since no two people are the same, I draw on different methods depending on what works best for the individual or family I’m working with.
You won’t know for sure until we meet, and that’s okay. Finding a good therapeutic fit is important. If I’m not the right match, I’ll happily provide referrals. It’s all about making sure you get the care you need.
Great question but unfortunately one I can't answer. Every situation is so different and there isn't a one size fits all approach. Definitely be honest with me about what you are looking for though because it is important that we are both on the same page and working towards the same goals.
I totally get that but it is actually really brave to admit that you need support. In fact I wish more people had your courage. I have always believed that the more vulnerable and authentic you are the stronger you are. Plus it is really hard to create the life you want, without eliminating the things that aren't working and trying new things that could.
Absolutely. I often share books, podcasts, and other tools that support your growth between sessions. I also refer clients to additional providers, like medical professionals, when helpful.
I absolutely do. In fact, I know from personal experience as well as from walking alongside many parents in similar situations. The exhaustion, confusion, discouragement, and grief can feel overwhelming, and sometimes those words don’t even come close. Parenting a child with big emotions and behaviors can feel like a daily emotional rollercoaster. It can lead to burnout, anxiety, and deep self-doubt. But there is hope. It is possible to restore peace in your home, reconnect with your child, and feel like yourself again. I've been there. I understand the heartbreak and the courage it takes to keep going. Every family is different, and I will support you with compassion, without judgment, and with strategies tailored to your journey.
