EMDR Intensives in Ventura County
Deeper Healing, faster results. For those ready to do the work.
For some people weekly 50-minute therapy sessions aren't the right fit. Maybe your schedule makes consistency difficult. Maybe you've been in therapy for years and want to make bigger shifts. Maybe you're ready to address something specific and don't want to wait months to get there.
EMDR intensives are extended focused therapy sessions that range from a few hours to multiple days. They allow us to go deeper into the healing process than a traditional weekly format allows.
Rather than spending the first 10 minutes of every session getting back up to speed, intensives let us stay in the work. Many clients describe their intensives as a turning point in their healing hourney.
Who Should Consider Doing An EMDR Intensive?
An EMDR intensive may be a good fit for you if you:
Feel stuck despite years of weekly therapy
Want to address a specific trauma, memory or life event
Prefer concentrated progress over a longer, slower process
Have a busy schedule that makes weekly sessions hard to maintain
Are visiting the Ventura County area and want focused work during your stay
